GROVER BEACH – A Central Coast school is back to it's normal routine after a reported gun-man forced the police to place it on lock down.
Grover Beach Elementary School was placed on lockdown by the GBPD at 12:30pm after they received reports of a man carrying a hand-gun in the area of the school.
Officers arrived on scene and setup a perimeter around the school and began a search.
During the search, the suspect was located at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Manhattan Avenue.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The entire incident lasted around 15 minutes with Grover Beach Elementary returning to its normal schedule around 12:45pm.
Additional information will be released by the Grover Beach Police Department as the investigation continues.
