PASO ROBLES – The US Postal Service is honoring the Boy Scouts of America with a very special stamp.
It was unveiled Friday at the Post Office in Paso Robles.
Scouts from northern San Luis Obispo County gathered for the celebration.
The "Celebrate Scouting" Stamp commemorates the 100th birthday of the organization.
It pays tribute to the impact of a century of scouting on the American landscape.
"I think that's really cool that it really spreads what we are and what we want to push forward," said Boy Scout Wesley Richards.
Local scouts also sent letters, donning the new stamp, to their friends who are in Virginia attending the National Jamboree.
